Zoo

                                     

After we settled in our new house...we began asking friends what fun things we should plan to do with our kiddos this spring and summer.  Everyone said hands-down that the Zoo was by far the best thing ever!  So on the first warm day of spring, we headed to the Zoo to check it out for ourselves!  It is indeed one awesome Zoo...and the best part is it is 15 minutes from our doorstep!!  SO we bought an annual pass and look forward to visiting often!

Easter

Happy Easter!!!

Jesus is RISEN...AMEN!!

We had so much fun celebrating Easter together this year...

Bella so enjoyed dying eggs for the first time!

We used our Resurrection Eggs to teach us all about the true meaning of Easter.  We used them each day for the 12 days leading up to Easter Sunday.  Bella LOVED opening her egg every day...we would act out the story together...

It was so special to be apart of our church's communion service the Thursday evening before Easter in our little chapel.

Casi's Visit...

Last week, one of our sweet former students in Florida came to visit us!  It was Casi's spring break so she saved up her money and flew to spend her week with us!  We loved picking her up from the airport and catching up on life...we had a fun week together...

Bella LOVED all the extra attention...she sure loves Casi!

Casi and I ventured out for some yummy ice cream together one night after the kids were asleep...

When we first started our ministry at Olive...Casi was entering into 6th grade...now she is in her freshman year of college!  SO fun that she and Bella have such a close relationship now...

Casi and I caught up on some good ole "chick-flicks"...with some yummy snacks =)

It was so special to take Casi with us to our Thursday evening communion service in our chapel...

We showed Casi our fun mall...ate some delicious Chick-fil-A...

New Beginnings...

Welcome SpRiNg!!!

We are welcoming spring with open arms!!  The past few months have been full of new beginnings for us...I thought I would blog about a few of my favorites!

Jer and Bella have a new routine of going out to "throw rocks" every evening while I prepare dinner...she looks forward to it every day!!

Jackson and I ventured out with them the other night and they showed us their special spot...

The entrance of our neighborhood has a little creek...or maybe it's just a big ditch!?  Whatever it is they love to find "critters" and throw rocks!

They have been working on a special project together...

I have thoroughly loved my new Bible study and am blessed to have the opportunity to learn alongside such Godly women...Bella helped me bake these goodies last week to take to Bible study!

One of my new friends and I had a girls night out...she took me to her favorite Sushi place...and it was divine!!!

New adventures are fun!  Sometimes scary and sometimes challenging...but when you know you are walking in the steps that God has for you...then you can rest assured that His plans are best and enjoy the adventurous ride!!
