Charlotte Mae’s Salvation

Over the last several months, our Charlotte has been asking a lot of questions about Salvation and asking Jesus to be her Savior. We’ve had many conversations over the weeks and months. During Mega Camp week, when she was given the opportunity to make a decision, she expressed she was ready to tell others she wanted to accept Jesus to be her Savior and get baptized. A few days later, we were out on the lake and had the opportunity to be alone and have conversation. As we were paddle boarding together, she prayed on her own and ask Jesus to forgive her sin and asked him to be her Savior. What a special moment we will always remember.

All her grandparents including her Mimi and her Gaga faithfully prayed for their grandchildren to come to know Jesus at a young age…they didn’t get to all physically be there to see her baptism but I just have to believe God gives them a glimpse down to the prayers answered and their legacy continuing. Now begins the life long process of growth…and what a joy and privilege to get to disciple and teach her over the coming years!

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John 1:4
