Ordinary days of growing a baby =)

Needless to say...the past 8 weeks have brought a huge HAULT to our "normal" fast-paced routine.  But, we couldn't be more excited for the reason for that hault!!!  A sweet little baby is growing fast...and mommy's body goes ka-put when that happens.  Although we have pretty much been home-bound since December...and there were some very, very challenging weeks and days...I am so thankful for my sweet Bella boo and my  handsome Jackson man who helped bring a smile to my face each day.  They are a constant reminder that all this yuckiness is SO well worth it.  A precious, precious life is quickly developing and we thank Jesus each day for that little life!

So, yes...around 8 weeks of pregnancy I basically feel like I've been hit by a truck and dragged behind it!!  Which means that we slow down our pace of life and just spend time together at home...other wise known around here as "pregnancy survival."

Here are some of my favorite sweet moments from the past 9 weeks....

My dear friend Katie offered to take Bella to ballet each week with her little girl...we were so thankful for sweet friends to help out so Bella could continue to enjoy ballet class!

We had fun doing little school projects together...

Bella and I watched lots of movies together on the couch and had good cuddle time...

Jackson's sweet...easy going personality lit up our days...

Lots of extra time to learn new things and do projects...

Practiced handwriting...

Enjoyed fun snacks together...

Shared sweet sugar...

And just last weekend...we began venturing out...and enjoyed a nice day at the zoo with our cousins!

We are looking forward to slowly getting back into our routine...play-dates with friends...adventures outside on beautiful spring days...and go...go...going together! :)

Baby News!!!

Baby...baby...baby!!!  We are so excited to welcome  a new little member to our family in July!  We can not wait to meet this little person...

First Haircut for the Princess!

Bella has been needing her little curls to be evened out...so we ventured out to a fun place in Nashville! It was quite an exciting experience...

All done!  Yay!  She looks so grown-up...

Mimi brought the Snow!!

These are "excited".."can't wait" faces!!!  Mimi found a deal on a fight from Nashville a few months back and it just so happened that a huge snow storm was headed our way the same day!!!  But, the Lord was with her and she made it to her flight in Atlanta and to Greenville in just the knick of time!  Jer braved the roads to go pick up Mimi from the airport!

And we woke up to beautiful white blanket of snow...

Yay!  We were so excited to dance and play with Mimi!

Fun times...

Snow FUN!

Our Second Christmas...

At the end of January, we loaded up and headed to Tennessee to have a belated Christmas celebration with my family!  As you can see...they were super excited...

YAY!!!  Christmas with the family at last!  We had such a fun time just relaxing and being together...

The boys of the family...

Christmas gifts are always exciting...even if it's 3 weeks after Christmas day!

Lots of sugar from Papa...he sure loves his boys...

Papa is training for an Ironman so he had some long rides on his trainer while we were there.  Jackson and Bella helped make the time pass by faster...

Fun times with cousins...

Our First Snow!

This was an unexpected few days of snowy, cold weather!!  The kids loved it...well, Jackson was a bit skeptical but Bella sure loved every minute of it!

They worked so hard on their first snowman...with help from daddy of course...

All done!  And they were soo proud!

Snow angel time!

Love this little guy =)
